What’s happening across South Africa’s major freight corridors this week?
The picture is mixed.
While several corridors absorbed increased volumes with little impact on transit times, three of the eight monitored corridors are now under pressure.
But it's not all pressure.
Walvis Bay-Cape Town absorbed an estimated 21% increase in volume with barely any change in transit time, creating an interesting window for operators with routing flexibility.
