How many ports are currently monitored?
Currently we track 10 ports in the SADC region: Namibia, South Africa, and Mozambique.
How many countries does the HMV analysis cover?
LMS monitors activity in 15 African countries and 51 border posts.
How many corridors form part of LMS?
There are 16 main corridors tracked, some with different alternate routes along those corridors.
What data is currently part of the LMS network?
LMS leverages data relating to HMV, vessels, port operations, weather and risk (accident, traffic disruptions, protest).
Are you able to view live vessel and HMV vehicles?
Vessel data is available live, while HMV data is for the previous day. One can consume one's own HMV data live.
Can you identify truck types?
Our HMV data is anonymised so truck types are not available. This can change should your own data be added.
