This week’s RSA Corridor Pulse Report shows an encouraging easing across the road network, but pressure remains at key nodes.
All monitored road corridors improved this week, with the N3 Joburg to Durban standing out as the most stable route at around 13 hours typical. However, Beitbridge remains a key watch point, with queues growing to 4.5km and average crossing times reaching 40 hours.
Kuruman to Saldanha remains the network’s main structural concern, running around 50% slower than 2025, while Walvis Bay vessel port call times continue to warrant attention.
The latest report also identifies opportunities on the N3, N4 western axis and several easing ports.
